New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Madhya Pradesh capital Bhopal today. PM Narendra Modi will attend the Joint Commanders Conference-2023 in Bhopal today. Apart from this, PM Modi will flag off the Delhi-Bhopal Vande Bharat Express. However, due to the death of 36 people in the Indore temple accident on Thursday, the road show to welcome and thank PM Modi has been cancelled, a Bharatiya Janata Party official said.

Prime Minister Modi will attend the Joint Commanders Conference-2023 at Kushabhau Thackeray Hall on April 1 at 10 am. An official said that after that the Prime Minister will flag off the Vande-Bharat Express train at Bhopal’s Rani Kamlapati railway station at around 3.15 pm. This train will run between Rani Kamlapati Railway Station and New Delhi.

He told that this will be the 11th Vande Bharat Express of the country. Vande Bharat Express has been indigenously designed, equipped with excellent travel facilities. This train will provide fast, comfortable and convenient travel experience to all passengers.

Along with this, tourism will be promoted and economic development will be encouraged in the region. The official said that the three-day conference of military commanders is being held from March 30 to April 1, 2023. The theme of the conference is ‘Ready, Resurgent, Relevant’. He said that various issues relating to joint battlefield preparedness of the armed forces would be discussed during the conference. There will also be a review of the progress of the defense ecosystem towards the preparedness of the armed forces and achieving ‘self-reliance’.

The official said that the commanders of the three armed forces and senior officials of the Ministry of Defense would participate in the conference. At the same time, changes have been made in the traffic system of Bhopal regarding the Prime Minister’s visit. Entry of heavy vehicles will be restricted from 8 am to 4 pm.

Along with this, entry of vehicles will be restricted from 9 am to 4 am near Police Control Room from Roshanpura, Machhi Ghar Tiraha to Gandhi Park Tiraha, Roshanpura to Polytechnic Chauraha, Kamla Park, Ret Ghat, VIP Road, Lalghati, Gandhi Nagar Tiraha.

Along with this, traffic from Bagsevania Police Station to Mansarovar Tiraha and Board Office Chauraha will remain closed from 11 am to 5 pm. Along with this, the entry of passengers from a number platform will also be restricted.
