Be informed, along with water distribution, the Jalkal department will now produce electricity as well. Unprecedented work has been done in Varanasi’s Waterworks Department regarding solar energy, due to which the Waterworks Department will not only save electricity, but will also sell electricity.

PM Modi will leave for Varanasi from Delhi at around 8.30 am tomorrow. From Varanasi airport, he will reach police line by helicopter. Then go to Rudraksh Convention Center by road. The PM will come from Rudraksh Convention Center to Sampurnanand by road only.

According to Anurag Tripathi, project director of National Highway Logistics Pvt Ltd, there will be a total of five stations starting from Varanasi Cantt station till Godaulia intersection. Stations will be built at Cantt Railway Station, Kashi Vidyapeeth, Rath Yatra, Church and Godaulia Crossroads. A glimpse of Kashi’s art, religion and culture will be seen at every station.

3000 people can travel on the trolley of ropeway in one direction in one hour. This means that 6000 people will be able to move in an hour from both the directions. The ropeway will be operational for 16 hours. It has to be made in two. The work of land acquisition, wire and pipe shifting is going on fast.

In the first phase, a ropeway will be run from Varanasi Cantt to Godaulia. The roads in the old areas of Kashi are less wide. The traffic pressure is increasing continuously. This creates a situation of jam. Domestic and foreign tourists also face problems. After the ropeway is built, the problem of jam will end.
