Along with this, PM Modi transferred the amount of Kisan Samman Nidhi from here to the account of nine crore farmers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that today about 18,000 crores of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi) of crores of farmers of the country have been directly deposited in their bank accounts.
Today, 1.25 lakh PM Kisan Kendras have been started in the country. Crores of farmers will get direct benefit from these centers set up at village and block level. The Cabinet had approved the introduction of sulphur-coated urea, known as Urea Gold, last month in a bid to improve soil health and reduce input costs for farmers. This marks the first-time use of this type of urea in the country. Sulphur-coated urea is more economical and efficient than other types.
PM Modi said that farmers will get seeds and fertilizers only at the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samridhi Kendra. Apart from this, tools and other machines related to farming will also be found at this center. These centers will give every modern information related to agriculture to others. Prime Minister Modi said that India’s development can happen only when the villages are developed and our government is working to provide every facility in the villages of India which is available in the cities.
The Prime Minister said that urea prices are an example of how our government is saving the money of its farmer brothers. Our government did not let the Corona and Russia-Ukraine war affect the farmers. Today, the sack of urea which is given for 266 in the country, the same sack is available for about 800 in Pakistan, 720 in Bangladesh and 2100 in China. In America, the same sack of urea is being sold for more than Rs 3,000.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashek Gehlot could not attend the programme. PM Modi said that Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has been ill for a few days. He has some problem in his legs, was supposed to attend this program today but could not come because of that difficulty. I pray for his good health.
