Prime Minister Narendra Modi has submitted his resignation to President Draupadi Murmu on Wednesday. With this, the way has been cleared for the formation of a new government.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has submitted his resignation to President Draupadi Murmu on Wednesday. With this, the way has been cleared for the formation of a new government.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met President Draupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The Prime Minister submitted his resignation and that of the Union Council of Ministers. Accepting the resignation, the President requested the Prime Minister and his colleagues to remain in their posts till the formation of the new government.

After the results of Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi had called a meeting of the Union Cabinet on Wednesday. In this meeting, a resolution was passed on the achievements of the Modi government’s tenure. Not only this, Modi Cabinet has recommended dissolution of the 17th Lok Sabha. Now President Draupadi Murmu will put her seal of approval on this recommendation.

NDA has got majority in the results of Lok Sabha elections. Now NDA is thinking about forming the government under the leadership of BJP. Meanwhile, sources say that Narendra Modi can take oath as Prime Minister on June 8. However, an official announcement is yet to be made.

After the Lok Sabha election results, BJP led NDA has started efforts to form a coalition government. After NDA gets full majority in the elections, the NDA has started brainstorming on what will be the outline of the BJP government and which faces will be included in the formation of the first cabinet.
