New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the 90th Interpol General Assembly to be held at Pragati Maidan in Delhi today. Delegates from 195 countries including neighboring Pakistan are participating in this conference. In this meeting, many important decisions are taken regarding the functioning of Interpol.

New Delhi: On Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the 90th Interpol General Assembly to be held at Pragati Maidan in Delhi. Delegates from 195 countries including neighboring Pakistan are participating in this conference. In this meeting, many important decisions are taken regarding the functioning of Interpol. From financial matters to corruption matters will also be discussed in the meeting. The Prime Minister’s Office said that these representatives include ministers of member countries, police chiefs, central bureau chiefs and senior police officers.

Amit Shah will also be involved. Interpol General Assembly will be held from October 18 to 21, PM Modi will attend its opening ceremony. At the same time, Home Minister Amit Shah will be present in the concluding program. The delegates who come to attend the event include the heads of investigation bureaus of various countries, police officers and others.

The PMO said that the meeting of the Interpol General Assembly is being held in India after a gap of 25 years. The last time this General Assembly was held in India was in 1997. On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of India’s independence, a special opportunity has been given to organize this time’s General Assembly in New Delhi. The PMO said that this event is an opportunity to make the world aware of India’s law and order system.

Advisory of Delhi Traffic Police

Traffic will be affected in the national capital for four days due to the Interpol General Assembly event. The Delhi Traffic Police has advised various organizations in Lutyens’ Delhi to allow their employees to work from home or change the working hours for four days in view of the event. The traffic police said people traveling in and around New Delhi district may face delays and should consider alternate routes during this period. The traffic police stressed that reducing the number of vehicles on the roads in New Delhi district is important and can be achieved only with the support of corporations, organizations and the general public.
