Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh ,President Droupadi Murmu, Home Minister Amit Shah among others led the long the long list of birthday wishes for the Prime Minister.

New Delhi: On today, 17 September 2022, PM Narendra Modi is celebrating his 72nd birthday. Many political leaders wishes poured in on Twitter for the world’s most popular leader. Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh ,President Droupadi Murmu, Home Minister Amit Shah among others led the long the long list of birthday wishes for the Prime Minister.

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh extended greetings to Prime Narendra Modi on this 72nd birthday. “With his leadership, he has given unprecedented strength to the country’s progress & good governance and provided a new height to India’s prestige & self-respect before the world,” he said in a tweet.

President Droupadi Murmu extended greetings to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that the natio-building campaign by the PM continues to progress. “I wish that the nation-building campaign being carried out by you with hard work, dedication and creativity continues to progress under your leadership. I wish that God bless you with good health and long life,” the president said.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi tweeted a one-line greeting for PM Modi. “Wishing PM Narendra Modi a happy birthday,” he tweeted.

Home Minister Amit Shah heaped praises on Modi and lauded his effort to steer India in the right direction. “@narendramodi has worked to take the country forward in every field by connecting it to its original roots. New India has emerged as a world power under the vision and leadership of Modiji. Modi ji has made his mark as a global leader, who is respected by the whole world,” Shah tweeted in Hindi.

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor posted a photo with PM Modi and wished him good health and long life. “May he work to remove the darkness enveloping so many of our fellow citizens & bring them the light of progress, development & social harmony instead,” he tweeted.

Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal put out a tweet wishing for PM Modi’s long and healthy life.

Russian President Vladimir Putin extended his best wishes to PM Modi on Friday for his birthday during the bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the SCO summit in Uzbekistan. The Russian President wished “all the best” to his “dear friend” ahead of his birthday as the two leaders held talks on the sidelines of the annual summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has a packed schedule to celebrate the prime minister’s birthday, PM Modi will be going about his day as usual, fulfilling his national duties. The ministry of culture is organising a 16-day e-auction of prestigious and memorable gifts presented to him. The fourth edition of the e-auction will commence today and conclude on October 2. “This year approximately 1,200 mementos and gift items have been put on e-auction. The display of the mementos has been done at the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi. These items can also be viewed on the website,” Union minister Kishan Reddy said.

One of the biggest highlights of his birthday will be the eight cheetahs that were brought from Namibia and will be released by the prime minister into the Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh around 10:45 am. Notably, the big cat was extinct in the country in 1952 due to sport hunting, overhunting and habitat loss. A restaurant in Lutyens’ Delhi, Ardor 2.1, will be serving a 56-inch thali for 10 days starting from today on the occasion of PM Modi’s birthday. “We are huge fans of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Our restaurant is known for its thalis. The 56-inch thali is an assimilation of 56 dishes culminated into a single thali. It is to commemorate his birthday and to honour what he has done for the country and its citizens,” owner Suveett Kalra said.

After releasing the cheetahs in the national park, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in Self Help Group (SHG) Sammelan with women SHG members/community resource persons at Karahal, Sheopur. He will also expected to deliver four speeches, which will cover diverse sectors like wildlife and environment, women empowerment, skills and youth development, and next generation infrastructure.
