Maharashtra Congress MLA PN Patil, who represented the Karvir assembly constituency, tragically passed away at a private hospital in Kolhapur. The 71-year-old leader sustained a head injury after a fall at his residence on May 19, ultimately succumbing to complications while undergoing treatment.

Patil’s untimely demise comes as a shock to many, with his last rites scheduled to take place in his native village, Sadoli Khalsa, on Thursday.

PN Patil, well-known in Maharashtra politics, was also the head of the Congress in Kolhapur. He started his political journey in 1995 by contesting from Sangrul in Kolhapur.
