Appalabhaktula Nagendra Murthy raised his voice and filed a complaint in Eluru. Eluru police chief, Rahul Dev Sharma, claimed teams had been created to investigate the matter and reach the bottom of the issue. An investigation revealed that approximately Rs 48 crore was transacted through 33 bank accounts.

However, police have warned people against downloading loan apps. Police officials have urged the people to come forward and register a complaint if they were the victims of such applications.

Earlier today, due to the repeated harassment by the loan app customers’ service operators, a techie in Chennai committed suicide. The service operators had made the life of the techie a living hell; they verbally abused him despite the fact that he repaid the loan he had taken.
