Police Arrested 20 Servicemen in Hathras Accident; Main accused still out of Reach

Hathras Stampede: Police have formed 7 teams to nab the culprits of the tragic accident that took place in Hathras on Tuesday. At the same time, the search for the main accused in the accident, Sevadar Devprakash Madhukar, is going on. Meanwhile, the police took major action and arrested 20 people, who are said to be servicemen. Police are interrogating the arrested servicemen.

Hathras Stampede: Police have formed 7 teams to nab the culprits of the tragic accident that took place in Hathras on Tuesday. At the same time, the search for the main accused in the accident, Sevadar Devprakash Madhukar, is going on. In fact, 121 people died in the stampede that broke out during Bhole Baba’s satsang in Hathras on Tuesday. Yogi Government has constituted a judicial commission to investigate the Hathras stampede. This three-member commission includes retired Allahabad High Court judge Justice Brajesh Kumar Srivastava II, retired IAS Hemant Rao, who was Additional Chief Secretary, and retired IPS Bhavesh Kumar, who was DG Prosecution and Chief State Information Commissioner.

Public interest litigations (PILs) have been filed in the Supreme Court and Allahabad High Court in the case of stampede in Hathras. In which a demand has been made for investigation by an expert committee of 5 members under the supervision of a retired Justice of this Supreme Court.
