Political ruckus on Rahul Gandhi’s questioning; Congress’s Sachin Pilot in custody amid heavy protests

New Delhi: Political ruckus over Rahul Gandhi’s questioning. The Congress’s protest against the Enforcement Directorate’s interrogation of Rahul Gandhi in the money laundering case continues on third consecutive day. Even on Wednesday, senior party leaders are performing continuously. Meanwhile, the police have detained former Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot on his way to the party’s headquarters in New Delhi.

ED is questioning Rahul Gandhi for the third consecutive day. So far 21 hours of question and answer have been done. Congress leaders and workers are continuously protesting against this. The Congress also accused the BJP government of stopping political activities by barring Congress workers from entering the party headquarters and said the central government would have to face the consequences.

Congress workers have been detained from outside the party office and ED headquarters. Where he demonstrated and raised slogans in support of Rahul Gandhi. The video shows some of them being dragged and put on buses. Top party leaders including Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, Bhupesh Baghel and Pawan Khera also took part in the protest.

Rajasthan Congress MLA Mukesh Bhakar tweeted a video of the detention where Mr Pilot’s supporters can be seen arguing with the cops but he eventually agrees to get on the police bus amid supportive sloganeering by Congress workers.

In a press conference, Congress made serious allegations against the central government and said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are targeting Rahul Gandhi. Congress alleges that Rahul Gandhi has been raising his voice for farmers, jawans and laborers. That is why the ED is being misused against him.
