Shocking! Assamese actor Kishore Das, 30, passes away, was undergoing treatment for cancer

New Delhi: Big blow to the Assamese industry, their most talented, young and popular actor passes away. Assamese actor Kishore Das breathed his last on Saturday, July 2. He was battling with cancer. He was battling a major disease like cancer for the last one year. There is a wave of mourning in the Assamese industry due to the death of Kishore Das. 30-year-old Kishore Das was undergoing treatment in Chennai.

For some time he was also treated in Guwahati. Seeing better medical facilities, he had reached Chennai in March last year. He said goodbye to the world on Saturday after a long battle with cancer. Kishor Das had shared a picture from the hospital in May last and told that he is undergoing treatment for the fourth stage.

According to the report, Kishore Das had also got Covid-19. Due to which their problems also increased. Kishore Das was a well-known name in the Assamese entertainment industry. He had a huge fan following. Everyone is in shock at his untimely demise. His fans are expressing their grief by writing posts on social media pages.

Kishor Das wrote in a post from the hospital, ‘What doesn’t kill you can only make you stronger. This is the fourth stage of chemotherapy. You would think this is easily done but unfortunately it is not. During this I have many side effects like fatigue, nausea, dizziness, weakness, vomiting. I cannot take any other medicine without asking my doctor.

Kishor further wrote, ‘I hope to be fine and also hope that the tumor will have reduced significantly after the completion of the treatment. Please remember me in your prayers.’

Das, who mostly worked in the Assamese entertainment industry, became a household name with his performances in a number of hit Assamese television shows like Bidhata, Bandhun and Nedekha Fagun.
The talented actor’s song ‘Turut Turut’ also became an instant hit among Assamese music lovers and he became an overnight sensation there. Kishor Das was last seen in an Assamese movie titled ‘Dada Tumi Dusto Bor’.

Despite being ill, he was regularly promoting his upcoming projects on social media.

The actor also won the ‘Candid Young Achievement’ award in 2019 and was quite popular on social media.
