Dhaka: In a sudden turn of events, Humaira Himu, who was a eminent TV and film actress has tragically passed away at 37. The sequence of events leading to Humaira’s demise began with a frantic rush to the Uttara Adhunik Medical College Hospital in Dhaka after she was discovered unconscious. However the doctors pronounced her dead on arrival on 2nd November. Despite the medical team’s dedicated efforts, her condition did not improve, leading to the devastating declaration of her arrival in a state beyond recovery.
As per reports, hospital authorities noticed a faint ligature mark on her neck and informed the police. However, it has been said that Humaira’s friend, who was present at the hospital, left the premises before the police arrived.
Humaira Himu started her acting career in theater in 2006, and then ventured into television with the series “Chayabithi”. She also appeared in various TV series including “Bari Baari Sari Sari”, “Housefull” and “Gulshan Avenue”.
She gained popularity for her contribution in her debut film “Amar Bondhu Rashed”, which was directed by Morshedul Islam.

The postmortem will reportedly be carried out to find the exact cause of death. A report in sources, said that police claimed the popular television actress had a romantic relationship with a man and that she may have died by suicide after the couple had an argument on November 2.
Soon after the news of Humaira’s death surfaced, netizens expressed shock and mourned her demise.

37-year-old actress Humaira made her film debut in the movie ‘Amar Bondhu Rashed’ in 2011 and had been active in the entertainment industry for several years. In recent years, Humaira had focused more on television and was planning a comeback after a hiatus. She also appeared in various television dramas, including ‘Bari Bari Sari Sari’, ‘Housefull’, ‘Gulshan Avenue’, and others.
