New Delhi: Sonu Nigam: A big news is coming out from the family of Bollywood’s famous singer Sonu Nigam. Actually, there has been a big incident of robbery with Singer’s father Agam Kumar Nigam. It is being told that Rs 72 lakh was stolen from his house. His former driver has been arrested in this case.

Singer’s sister Nikita lodged a police complaint in this matter, after which the matter came to light. Police is investigating this case. According to reports, an official has told that the age of Sonu Nigam’s father is 76 years. Like him, a case has been registered against the former driver for stealing Rs 72 lakh from the house.

Sonu Nigam’s younger sister Nikita lodged a complaint of theft at Oshiwara police station. As per the complaint, Agam Kumar Nigam had a driver named Rehan for about 8 months, but his work was not up to the mark. For this reason he was recently removed from work.

According to media reports, Agam Kumar Nigam went to lunch at Nikita’s house in Versova area on Sunday. The same day in the evening, he told his daughter over phone that Rs 40 lakh was missing from the digital locker kept in the wooden almirah. Singer’s father Agam Kumar Nigam lives in Oshiwara, Andheri West, Mumbai and the alleged theft took place between March 19 and March 20.

The next day, Agam Kumar Nigam found Rs 32 lakh missing from his lock. After this, he and Nikita check the CCTV footage of their society, in which former driver Rehan is seen walking towards the flat with a bag on both the days. On Nikita’s complaint, the Oshiwara police have registered a case of theft and house-trespass under sections 380, 454 and 457 of the Indian Penal Code.
