Delhi is ready to host G20 meetings. The work of the new Integrated Exhibition cum Convention Center (IECC) at Pragati Maidan has been completed. This complex is to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 26 July. This complex spread over 123 acres of International Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) in Pragati Maidan has been redeveloped. The responsibility of which was given to the construction company NBCC (India) Limited.
Let us tell you that on September 9-10, the meeting of the heads of state and government of the 18th G-20 summit will be held in the new convention center.
This IECC complex has been included in the world’s 10 largest exhibition and convention complex after being redeveloped, which competes with Germany’s Hannover Exhibition Center and Shanghai’s National Exhibition and Convention Center.
IECC is a testimony to India’s ability to host world class events on a large scale with its vastness and well-built infrastructure. Level 3 of this convention center has a large seating capacity of 7000 people, making it larger than Australia’s iconic and grand Sydney Opera House with a seating capacity of around 5500. This makes IECC emerge as a suitable venue for hosting mega conferences, international summits and cultural events on a global scale.

With the formation of IEEC, this time it is proposed to organize India International Trade Fair in 1 lakh 10 thousand square meters. Last year also, the trade fair was held in the maximum area of about 73 thousand square meters.
