President Droupadi Murmu Addresses, Mention of these issues including Emergency, NEET, Farmers, CAA and Economy

President Draupadi Complete Speech: On Thursday, the fourth day of the first session of the 18th Lok Sabha, President Draupadi Murmu addressed both the houses of the Parliament. During this, President Murmu mentioned many important issues including emergency, NEET, farmers, CAA and economy in his address.

President Draupadi Complete Speech: On Thursday, the fourth day of the first session of the 18th Lok Sabha, President Draupadi Murmu addressed both the houses of the Parliament. During this, President Murmu mentioned many important issues including emergency, NEET, farmers, CAA and economy in his address. The President said that the Emergency was the biggest and darkest chapter of the direct attack on the Constitution. During this, he also talked about the North-Eastern states and the army.

1-President Draupadi Murmu said, ‘I extend hearty congratulations and best wishes to all the newly elected members of the 18th Lok Sabha. All of you have come here after winning the trust of the voters of the country. Very few people get this privilege of serving the country and public service. I have full confidence that you will fulfill your responsibility with the spirit of nation first and will become a medium to fulfill the aspirations of 140 crore countrymen.

2- The President said, ‘This was the biggest election in the world. About 64 crore voters have performed their duty with enthusiasm and enthusiasm. This time too, women have participated enthusiastically in voting. A very pleasant picture of this election has also emerged from Jammu and Kashmir. Voting records of several decades have been broken in the Kashmir Valley. She said, ‘The 2024 Lok Sabha elections are being discussed all over the world today. The world is watching that the people of India have formed a government with a stable and clear majority for the third consecutive time. This has happened after six decades. At a time when the aspirations of the people of India are at the highest level, people have expressed confidence in my government for the third consecutive time.

3- The President said, ‘My government is of the opinion that there should be healthy competition among the states to attract investors from all over the world. This is the true spirit of competitive co-operative federalism. Development of the country through the development of the state, we will continue to move forward with this spirit.

4- She said, ‘The resolve to Reform, Perform and Transform has today made India the fastest growing economy in the world. In 10 years, India has risen from the 11th ranked economy to the fifth position. Between 2021 and 2024, India has grown at an average pace of 8 percent.

5- The President said, ‘My government is giving equal importance to all three pillars of the economy – Manufacturing, Services and Agriculture. PLI schemes and Ease of Doing Business are increasing investment and employment opportunities on a large scale. Along with traditional sectors, sunrise sectors are also being promoted on mission mode.

6- She said, ‘To enable farmers to meet their small expenses, an amount of more than Rs 3 lakh 20 thousand crore has been given to them under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. In the initial days of the new tenure of my government, an amount of more than Rs 20 thousand crore has been transferred to the farmers. The government has also made a record increase in the MSP for Kharif crops.

7- President Murmu said, ‘Nowadays the demand for organic products is increasing rapidly in the world. Indian farmers have ample capacity to meet this demand. Therefore, the government is strengthening the supply chain of natural farming and its related products. With such efforts, farmers’ expenditure on farming will also reduce and their income will also increase.

8- The President said, ‘Today’s India is not known for increasing the challenges of the world but for providing solutions to the world. As a world friend, India has taken initiative to solve many global problems. From climate change to food security, from nutrition to sustainable agriculture, we are providing many solutions. She said, ‘The coming time is of Green Era. My government is taking every necessary step for this also. We are increasing investment in green industries, due to which green jobs have also increased. Be it green energy or green mobility, we are working with big goals on every front.

9- The President said, ‘India today has the third largest domestic aviation market in the world. In April 2014, there were only 209 airline routes in India. Their number has increased to 605 in April 2024. Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities are directly benefiting from this expansion in air travel.

10- She said, ‘My government has built more than 3 lakh 80 thousand kilometers of roads in villages under the PM Gramin Sadak Yojana in 10 years. Today, a network of national highways and expressways is being laid in India. The speed of building national highways has also increased by more than double.
