Presidential elections in Iran: The Iranian government decided on Monday that the country’s 14th presidential election will be held on June 28. According to reports, the date of the election was decided at a meeting attended by Iran’s First Vice President Mohammad Mokhbar, Judiciary Chief Gholam Hossein Mohseni-Ejaei and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Vice President for Legal Affairs Mohammad Dehqan and the Iranian Constitutional Council and the Ministry of Interior. Representatives of participated.

It is noteworthy that Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and some members of his team, including Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdulahian, were confirmed dead on Monday morning, as the helicopter carrying them failed. The wreckage was found after the crash in bad weather on Sunday near Varjakan County, about 670 kilometers from Tehran.
