Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Inaugurate Projects Worth Over ₹13,500 Crore and Address Public Gathering in Telangana's Mahabubnagar District on October 1
New delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Telangana on Sunday afternoon, where he will participate in the foundation-laying ceremony for multiple development projects worth over ₹13,500 crore.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, around 2:15 PM, PM Modi will arrive in Mahabubnagar district, where he will dedicate these projects to the nation. These projects span various crucial sectors, including road infrastructure, railways, petroleum and natural gas, and higher education. During the event, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate a train service via video conferencing.
One of the key road projects that PM Modi will lay the foundation for is part of the Nagpur-Vijayawada Economic Corridor. It includes a 108 km long four-lane access-controlled Greenfield highway from Warangal to Khammam and a 90 km long four-lane access-controlled Greenfield highway from Khammam to Vijayawada. These road projects will have a combined cost of approximately ₹6,400 crore and will reduce travel distances between various cities.
PM Modi will also dedicate a road project, the four-laning of the 59 km long Suryapet to Khammam section of NH-365BB, which costs about ₹2,460 crore. This project is part of the Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam Corridor and will enhance connectivity to Khammam district and coastal regions of Andhra Pradesh.
Additionally, the Prime Minister will dedicate 37 km of the Jaklair-Krishna New Railway Line, providing rail connectivity to previously underserved areas. He will also inaugurate the Hyderabad (Kacheguda) – Raichur – Hyderabad (Kacheguda) train service, connecting several districts in Telangana with Raichur district in Karnataka.
Furthermore, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for important oil and gas pipeline projects, including the Hassan-Cherlapalli LPG Pipeline Project, designed to offer a safe, cost-efficient, and eco-friendly means of LPG transportation. He will also initiate the Multi-Product Petroleum Pipeline of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) from Krishnapatnam to Hyderabad (Malkapur), aiming to provide efficient and environmentally friendly petroleum product transportation in the region.
