Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran met with an accident during the shooting of his upcoming film ‘Vilayat Buddha’. The actor has injured his leg and will undergo knee-holder surgery today. As per the advice of the doctors, he will have to take a few days off from work for a few weeks to recover.

Prithviraj was shooting for his upcoming film ‘Vilayath Buddha’ in Marayoor, Cochin. During the shooting of an action sequence for the film, the actor injured his leg and was immediately admitted to a private hospital.
According to the reports, according to the advice of the doctor, he will undergo surgery today and if he does not rest for a few days. It may also take about 2 to 3 months for Prithviraj to recover completely. After the surgery, he has been advised rest for a few weeks. Hence the shooting of his film has been stopped.

The film ‘Vilayat Buddha’ is directed by Jayan Nambiar, who previously worked as an assistant to late director Saachi in the film ‘Ayyappanam Koshiyum’. The film Vilayath Buddha will be based on the novel by GR Indugopan.
