Uttar Pradesh Approves Cutting-Edge GIS Data Centre for Ayodhya’s Project Monitoring
In a significant move, the Uttar Pradesh government has granted approval for a ‘State-of-the-Art Centralised GIS Data Centre’ in Ayodhya, with a primary focus on delivering real-time analysis of ongoing projects in the revered temple town. The state government’s announcement on Friday revealed that the data center is strategically designed to enhance departmental inspections and streamline decision-making processes.
The Ayodhya Development Authority (ADA), tasked with project implementation, will be responsible for selecting an agency to establish and manage the data center. The chosen agency will operate and oversee the center for an initial five-year duration, with the potential for extension based on performance, as outlined by the state government.
“The data centre’s role will be pivotal in monitoring the progress of each project, identifying potential delays, and ensuring ADA has easily accessible information to expedite the efficient completion of all projects within the specified timeframe,” highlighted the state government.
Ayodhya currently boasts a substantial project portfolio, encompassing 141 projects with a cumulative value surpassing ₹30,977 crore. The establishment of the GIS Data Centre aligns with the state government’s commitment to modernize project oversight and bolster transparency in the development initiatives undertaken in Ayodhya.
The state government emphasized that senior ADA officers will stay seamlessly connected through smart devices, leveraging the advanced framework developed by the data center. This technological integration ensures a streamlined process for regular inspections, fostering efficient communication and oversight.
The introduction of the GIS Data Centre marks a significant leap towards technologically-driven project management, reinforcing the state government’s dedication to advancing Ayodhya’s development endeavors with precision and transparency.
