Proud to have ‘farmer’s son VP’, many leaders including PM congratulated Jagdeep Dhankhar in a special way

New Delhi: Former West Bengal Governor and NDA candidate Jagdeep Dhankhar was on Saturday elected as the 14th Vice President of India. After the election to the second top post of the country, all the veteran leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Draupadi Murmu, Congress chief Sonia Gandhi congratulated Jagdeep Dhankhar in different ways.

During this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, “I thank all those MPs who have voted for Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar ji. At a time when India is celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, we are proud to have such a farmer’s son, Vice President. who has excellent legal knowledge and intellectual acumen.”

Congratulating Jagdeep Dhankhar on being elected the new Vice President of India, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that he is a very capable person. Rajnath Singh tweeted, “Congratulations Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar on winning the Vice Presidential election. His long public life, vast experience and deep understanding of people’s issues will surely benefit the nation. I am sure he is an exceptional VP and Rajya Sabha member. Will be the chairman.”

With Jagdeep Dhankhar becoming the Vice President of India, congratulatory tweets started pouring in on social media. During this, opposition candidate Margaret Alva also congratulated Jagdeep Dhankhar.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah took to Twitter to thank NDA allies, other parties and Members of Parliament for supporting Jagdeep Dhankhar. Shah tweeted, “I am confident that Jagdeep Dhankhar ji as Vice President and Chairman of Rajya Sabha will prove to be an ideal guardian of the Constitution. I congratulate him on this victory. Also NDA allies, other parties and other parties under the leadership of Modi ji will prove to be an ideal guardian of the Constitution. I express my gratitude to the Members of Parliament for supporting Dhankhar ji.

Venkaiah Naidu also congratulated Jagdeep Dhankhar on the victory of the Vice President. He tweeted, “Heartfelt congratulations to Shri Jagdeep Dhankar ji on his election as the 14th Vice President of the country and my best wishes for a successful tenure. The nation will benefit from your long experience in public life and your knowledge in the field of justice and law.”

Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Chauhan also congratulated Jagdeep Dhankhar on his victory for the post of Vice President on Twitter. He tweeted, “Heartfelt congratulations to Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar ji, elected to the post of Vice President, best wishes. Under your patronage, Rajya Sabha, the Upper House of Parliament, will set new paradigms for the country’s development, public welfare, efforts for the upliftment of the weaker sections, this is the belief of all of us. I wish you all the best again.”

Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari congratulated Jagdeep Dhankhar and said that he is sure that his tenure as Vice President will be a successful one.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also congratulated Jagdeep Dhankhar on being elected as the 14th Vice President of India.

Congratulating Jagdeep Dhankhar on being elected as the Vice President, President Draupadi Murmu said that the nation would benefit from his long and rich experience in public life.

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath also took to Twitter to congratulate Jagdeep Dhankhar on being elected as the Vice President.

Congress President Sonia Gandhi also congratulated Jagdeep Dhankhar on being elected the Vice President of India.

Let us inform that NDA candidate Jagdeep Dhankhar was elected as the new Vice President of India on Saturday.Jagdeep Dhankhar defeated joint opposition candidate Margaret Alva by a huge margin. Dhankhar got 528 votes, while Margaret Alva got only 182 votes. And 15 votes were invalid.
