Punjab: BSF shoots down Pakistani drone, drugs worth crores recovered; One arrested

BSF Shot Down Pakistani Drone: The Border Security Force on Saturday shot down a Pakistani drone in Amritsar, Punjab. This is the fifth drone shot down by security forces within 10 days.

Punjab: BSF shoots down Pakistani drone, drugs worth crores recovered; One arrested

Amritsar: Indian Border Security Force (BSF) personnel have shot down a Pakistani drone in Dhanoi Khurd village of Amritsar. Apart from this, BSF also arrested a person with a suspicious consignment bag containing 3 packets weighing approximately 3.4 kgs. An iron hook and 4 shiny strips were also found attached to the consignment. BSF Punjab Frontier has given information about this.

According to BSF spokesperson, BSF personnel were patrolling on Saturday night near Attari border located in Khasa Sector Headquarters. Meanwhile, at around 9:35 in the morning, the BSF jawans heard the sound of a drone entering from the Pakistan side and started firing on it.

The spokesman said that during the firing, a man was seen running away after which the army chased him and nabbed him. BSF recovered a packet from his possession, inside which three packets of heroin were found, which was 3 kg 400 grams. The jawans also recovered an iron hook and four bright strips along with this consignment of heroin.
