Punjab: As the Khalistani leader and fugitive Amritpal Singh is still on the run even after four days of manhunt, Punjab Police on Tuesday released a set of possible avatars that he could've adopted to evade arrest. In set of seven pictures, where the 30-year-old radical preacher, who styles himself after the Sikh terrorist Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, was seen in various guises and turbans.

Punjab: As the Khalistani leader and fugitive Amritpal Singh is still on the run even after four days of manhunt, Punjab Police on Tuesday released a set of possible avatars that he could’ve adopted to evade arrest. In set of seven pictures, where the 30-year-old radical preacher, who styles himself after the Sikh terrorist Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, was seen in various guises and turbans.

In seven different photographs released by cops, where he can be seen in clean shaven or bearded looks and in different turbans and disguises. In the hope that people can help identify and identify Amritpal Singh. Cops suspect that Amritpal Singh might have changed his appearance and these photos will help people identify him even in a different appearance from the one he had when he escaped.

Punjab IGP Sukhchain Singh Gill released pictures of Amritpal Singh and asked people to help him in his arrest. Police released a set of seven photos of Amritpal, in which the radical can be seen with a clean shave, a different hairstyle and a turban.

Sukhchain Singh said that the car from which Amritpal Singh absconded has been recovered. The four accused who helped Amritpal Singh to escape have been arrested. He said that the names of the accused are Manpreet Singh, Gurdeep Singh, Harpreet Singh and Gurpesh Singh. A case of Arms Act and escape of the accused from police custody has been registered against them.

He informed that National Security Act (NSA) has been imposed against Amritpal Singh. A non-bailable warrant has been issued against him on March 18. He said that the situation in the state is peaceful. Law and order is normal.

The CM is also constantly taking information about the matter from the officials. Full cooperation is getting from other states and agencies too. No one has been or will be kept under unlawful arrest.

Earlier during the hearing, the Punjab and Haryana High Court reprimanded the Punjab government for Amritpal Singh’s evasion of the police and described it as a failure of the intelligence system.

The government told the court that so far more than 120 associates of Amritpal have been arrested. The court said that we do not believe the story of the police. The court has asked the Punjab Police to file a status report.
