PVR Cinemas has come up with an interesting offer called “JAB” offer, which will offer free tickets to everyone who is fully vaccinated. This initiative has been taken to encourage more and more people to get vaccinated.
If you think that getting vaccinated will protect you from infection with the virus, then you are wrong. You will now get a free ticket on taking both the doses and that too at your nearest PVR theatre. According to the company, this offer will provide an additional ticket free of cost (BOGO) to the vaccinated guest.
In addition to the free ticket, vaccinated people will also receive free popcorn upon purchase of another popcorn tub during the first two weeks of reopening. No one knew that taking two shots of the COVID-19 vaccine would bring them so many benefits.
The PVR Jab offer has been extended till August 12, 2021. The offer is applicable to all movies and all cinemas where PVR has permission to open except for the states of Telangana, AP and Pondicherry. Apart from the offers for new customers, PVR also plans to give its 11 million PVR Privilege Customers the chance to earn 2X points for both Tickets and Food Spends, further extending the benefit to its loyal customers.

PVR had resumed operations from July 30 in states that had allowed cinema halls to open. The company had announced that all its employees have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The Delhi government had allowed the reopening of cinemas with 50 per cent capacity.
