Radhe Shyam had its grand release in theatres on March 11 in multiple languages across the globe. The highly-anticipated film starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde did massive business on its opening day. The romantic period drama is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar.
The film in the north belt is reportedly expected to take an opening of Rs 5-6 crores and its further collections depend on the film talk and how the public will receive it. To top it there are films like ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ and ‘The Batman’ which are already running successfully and the Hindi film ‘The Kashmir Files’ is also releasing today.
Coming to its native language Telugu, Prabhas is a big star here, therefore, the film for sure will take a flying start no matter what the reviews are…! ‘Radhe Shyam’ has reportedly minted over Rs 200+ crores in its theatrical business across the globe.
And if the film turns out to be a blockbuster it is expected to collect over Rs 320 crores in its theatrical run. If the film just gets hit to superhit talk it will reportedly get between Rs 200 – 250 crores. If it is just average then it will have to reportedly settle between Rs 180 to Rs 210 crores.
Prabhas and Pooja Hegde’s Radhe Shyam features brilliant visuals and production design. The actor’s fans showered love on the film on its opening day. Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan shared the response to the film on Day 1 on Twitter. He wrote, “#RadheShyam BIGGEST Indian opener of the year. Created new records in many places. #Prabhas (sic).”

Radhe Shyam stars Prabhas and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles. The story revolves around a fortune-teller and a princess and how their romance blossoms. Radhe Shyam’s cast also includes Bhagyashree, Sathyaraj, Jagapathi Babu, Sachin Khedekar and Priyadarshi. The film is running in theatres in five languages – Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
