Rahul Gandhi Defamation Case: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi can go to Surat on Monday, April 3. Here he can file a petition in the Surat court against the sentence of two years in the ‘Modi surname’ defamation case. Recently, Rahul was sentenced to two years in the Modi surname defamation case by the CJM court. Rahul has also been given a month’s time to challenge this sentence in the court. According to media reports, the petition challenging the court’s decision has been prepared. Rahul can file it in the court after reaching Surat on Monday. He will seek a stay on the blame in the defamation case. His parliament membership can be restored only when the defect is stopped.

In fact, on March 23 this year, a court in Surat convicted Rahul Gandhi for his 2019 comment on ‘Modi surname’ and sentenced him to two years imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 15,000. After some time, the court also granted him bail. Also, the sentence was postponed for 30 days. After this punishment, Rahul Gandhi was disqualified from the Lok Sabha and his membership has been cancelled. Since then, all the Congress leaders have opened a front against the BJP.

After this sentence there was a political boil in the country. His membership of the Lok Sabha has also been terminated.

Let us tell you that BJP MLA Purnesh Modi filed a defamation case against Rahul Gandhi. In fact, Rahul Gandhi had said during a rally in Kolar, Karnataka during the Lok Sabha elections in 2019 that ‘How come all thieves have the surname Modi?’ Rahul Gandhi was disqualified from the Lok Sabha after being sentenced by the court.

Meanwhile, the difficulties of Rahul Gandhi in the defamation case are not taking the name of reducing. Recently, the MP MLA Court of Patna has also sent a notice to him. The court has asked him to appear on April 12. This case on Rahul Gandhi was filed by BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi in the year 2019. There is an allegation on Rahul Gandhi that he insulted those with Modi surname by calling them thieves.
