Rahul Gandhi meet the victims of Hathras stampede: Rahul Gandhi, MP from Rae Bareli seat and leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha, reached Aligarh on Friday morning, met the families of those killed in the stampede during the satsang in Hathras and inquired about the condition of the injured. After this Rahul met the families of the stampede victims in Hathras. During this, the Congress MP assured help to the victims of the stampede.
According to the information, Rahul Gandhi met people in Pilkhana village of Aligarh at around 7:30 am on Friday morning for about 40 minutes. Three women and a six-year-old child of this village had died in the accident. After this, he reached Green Park located in Vibhav Nagar near Navipur, Hathras, where he met the victim’s family and shared their pain. After the meeting, a member of the victim’s family told that Rahul Gandhi asked him how everything happened? During this, Rahul said that he will help us with the help of the party.
After meeting the victims of the stampede, Rahul Gandhi said, ‘This is a tragic incident. Many people have died. I don’t want to put it through a political lens but there have been lapses on the part of the administration and the important thing is that maximum compensation should be given because they are poor families. I request UP CM Yogi Adityanath to give compensation wholeheartedly. If there is a delay in compensation then no one will benefit from it.
Rahul Gandhi said, ‘I spoke personally to the family members of the deceased and they told me that there was no police arrangement. They are in shock and I just wanted to understand their situation.
