In a significant move, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi held a meeting with renowned wrestlers, including Olympic bronze medallist Bajrang Punia, in Haryana’s Jhajjar district. This gathering takes place against the backdrop of several wrestlers returning their awards as a form of protest against the recent election results of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI).

Wrestlers like Bajrang Punia, Commonwealth Games gold medallist Vinesh Phogat, and Olympic bronze medallist Sakshi Malik have been leading the protest against the election outcome.
