Yesterday a letter was given to Home Minister Amit Shah on behalf of the Congress regarding the security of Rahul Gandhi. It was said in the complaint that there was a lapse in the security of Rahul Gandhi during the 'Bharat Jodo' yatra in Delhi on 24 December.
New Delhi: CRPF responded to Congress’s complaint regarding breach in the security of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, the CRPF said that he has broken the security protocol about 113 times since 2020. The Central Security Force CRPF said that according to the guidelines, security is being given to Rahul Gandhi. The CRPF makes security arrangements in coordination with state police and security agencies.
The Central Security Force said that on the basis of the advisory issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs regarding the threat assessment, Advance Security Liaison (ASL) is prepared in collaboration with the state governments for each trip. Advance security liaison was completed on 22nd December for ‘Bharat Jodo’ Yatra on 24th December.
All the rules of security were strictly followed by the Delhi Police and adequate number of security personnel were deployed. Arrangements for the security of any person work well when the person himself follows the security guidelines properly.
Along with this, it has also been told that Rahul Gandhi himself has violated the security guidelines on many occasions. He has also been informed about this several times. From 2020 till now, 113 such violations were found and they were informed about them.
Even during the ‘Bharat Jodo’ tour, Rahul Gandhi violated the security guidelines and CRPF will take up this issue separately.
