BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri faces massive backlash from all sides after making abusive remarks on BSP MP Danish Ali in the Lok Sabha. BJP has issued a show cause notice to him and sought his reply within 15 days.
New Delhi: Huge uproar in politics over the objectionable comments made by BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri on Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MP Danish Ali from Amroha. Leaders of various political parties have condemned the objectionable statements of Ramesh Bidhuri. Congress has described the statement of BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri as tarnishing the dignity of the House.

Danish Ali has also written a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla for action against Bidhuri. Meanwhile, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi met BSP MP Danish Ali at his house on Friday (September 21). Rahul hugged Danish Ali. He has also shared its photo on his X handle. Senior Congress leader KC Venugopal was also with Rahul.
Congress said, “Rahul Gandhi ji reached the residence of BSP MP Danish Ali ji to meet him. Yesterday in Parliament, BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri had insulted Danish Ali ji and called him extremely indecent and unparliamentary abuses. And two former BJP ministers kept laughing obscenely.”

Mr Gandhi posted a photograph with Mr Ali on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “Nafrat ke bazaar mein, mohabbat ki dukkan (In this marketplace of hatred, there is a shop of love).”

A day before yesterday during LS proceedings on September 21, BJP MP Ramesh Biduri had used unparliamentary language against BSP MP Danish Ali. He abused the BSP MP in the upper house. He was even called an extremist. The video of Bidhuri’s misbehavior went viral on social media. When Bidhuri was saying all this, Dr. Harsh Vardhan was sitting behind him and laughing. Later, when trolled, he clarified.
BSP MP from Amroha, UP Danish Ali has written a letter to Loksabha Speaker Om Birla demanding stern action against the BJP MP. Ali even said that if no action is taken against Bidhuri, he may consider quitting MP. However, Bidhuri’s abusive words have been extracted from the proceedings of the House.
Immediately after the derogatory remarks, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had also expressed regret in the House. Many opposition parties including Congress are demanding suspension of Bidhuri from the House.
