This raid by the income tax officials is seen as one of the biggest cash recoveries of bribe money made by agencies from any bureaucrat. In a second search on the premises of a general manager of the UP Rajkiya Nirman Nigam in Dehradun, officials recovered documents indicating huge investments in property made by the bureaucrat and his family, including a 20-acre farmhouse and a number of bank lockers.

Another search was conducted on the premises of a retired OSD of Noida authority, Yashpal Tyagi, where authorities have recovered documents related to various property investments and bank lockers. Details of cash recoveries have not yet come.
