The Railway Ministry has delighted train enthusiasts by sharing captivating images of the Vande Bharat Express in Kerala on its social media platforms. The pictures showcase both the blue and tangerine-colored Vande Bharat Express trains as they gracefully pass through Vellayil Station in the Thiruvananthapuram-Kasaragod section of Kerala. The Ministry expressed its admiration for the trains using the popular phrase of the moment, “So beautiful, so elegant, just looking like a wow!”
Kerala recently welcomed its second Vande Bharat Express train on September 24, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with eight other Vande Bharat trains. The first orange-colored Vande Bharat Express operates on the Kasaragod-Thiruvananthapuram route, passing through 11 districts, including Alappuzha.
This indigenous semi-high-speed, self-propelled train set offers state-of-the-art passenger amenities, ensuring a faster, more comfortable, and convenient travel experience. The Vande Bharat Express trains are equipped with advanced safety features, including Kavach technology, making them a significant step toward providing modern, speedy, and comfortable travel options for the public, professionals, businessmen, students, and tourists, as stated by the railways.
