People have definitely got relief from the rain, but at many places, major accidents also occurred due to the rain. An accident took place this morning at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, in which one person has been reported dead and several injured. In fact, due to rain, the roof of Terminal 1 of the airport collapsed and buried many cars present there, in which many people were injured.
The injured have been admitted to hospital. It is being told that one of these persons has died. Fire brigade vehicles have reached the spot. Rescue work has been started. All flights from Terminal 1 of Delhi Airport have been suspended and check-in counters have been closed.
Delhi Fire Service (DFS) officials said six people were injured when a part of the roof of Delhi Airport Terminal 1 collapsed on Friday morning. Debris fell on several cars and taxis. He said that the injured persons have been admitted to the hospital. One of the injured persons has died.
