Raj Thackeray’s close aide and MNS leader Sandeep Deshpande attacked in Mumbai; admitted to Hinduja hospital

Mumbai: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader and former councilor Sandeep Deshpande has been fatally attacked by some unknown assailants this morning. Sandeep Deshpande has been admitted to Hinduja Hospital.

Mumbai: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader and Raj Thackeray’s close aide Sandeep Deshpande was allegedly attacked by unknown miscreants in Mumbai’s Dadar on Friday.

According to reports, this morning when he was going for a morning walk, he was attacked. In the initial investigation, it has been revealed that Sandeep Deshpande had gone for a morning walk in Shivaji Park, during which some people attacked him with weapons. In a hurry, Sandeep Deshpande has been admitted to Hinduja Hospital.

According to information, four people have attacked Sandeep Deshpande. These people were masked and had sticks in their hands. Sandeep’s leg has been injured in the attack. Several MNS leaders including Nitin Sardesai visited Deshpande at the hospital.

Sandeep Deshpande is the general secretary of MNS and also the spokesperson of the party. Deshpande has served as a former corporator for the Raj Thackeray-led party in Shivaji Park area. He is dubbed as one of the trusted men of Thackeray.
