Receiving the information, police reached the spot and started relief and rescue operations. According to the information, the bus full of passengers was going from Gujarat towards Mathura. All the people killed in this accident are residents of Bhavnagar.
The bus broke down on bridge on Jaipur Agra National Highway in Nadbai police station area on Jaipur-Agra highway. The driver parked the bus and started trying to fix it. Then the truck coming from behind hit the bus.
Police said that 11 people died on the spot in the accident. Some people have been injured. He has been admitted to the hospital. Police said that this bus was going from Bhavnagar in Gujarat to Mathura in Uttar Pradesh via Jaipur and Bharatpur.
The accident happened around 5 in the morning. Among those who died, six were women and five were men. All the passengers were brought to the district hospital via ambulance, where doctors declared 11 people died. About 12 seriously injured are undergoing treatment.
