Rajasthan: 7 of family dead, 2 injured after car collides with truck in Hanumangarh

Jaipur: On Sunday, police said that seven members of a family were killed in a head-on collision between a car and a truck in Rajasthan. Two others were injured in this accident. According to the information, this accident took place in Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan.

Jaipur: On Sunday, police said that seven members of a family were killed in a head-on collision between a car and a truck in Rajasthan. Two others were injured in this accident. According to the information, this accident took place in Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan.

After receiving information about this Police reached on the spot. They said that the accident occurred on Saturday night when the family was returning home from a function. SHO Ved Pal said that those killed in the accident have been identified as 60-year-old Paramjit Kaur, Khushwinder Singh, his wife Paramjit Kaur, son Manjot Singh and 36-year-old Rampal with his wife Reena and daughter Rita.

He further said that the injured have been identified as Akashdeep Singh and Manraj Kaur, who have been referred to a hospital in Bikaner. Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal has expressed grief over this incident.

Beniwal posted on social media platform X and wrote, ‘The loss of life due to the terrible road accident caused by the collision of car and trolley in Hanumangarh district is very sad news. May God grant peace to the souls of the departed and speedy recovery to the injured.’

SHO further said that nine members of a family in the car were returning home after attending a program. The bodies have been sent to Hanumangarh District Hospital for post-mortem. He said that a case has been registered against the truck driver in this regard and investigation has been started.
