After the incident, the relatives of the deceased have started a sit-in. They have refused to conduct the post-mortem of the dead body. He said that he would pick up the body only after the arrest of all the accused. In view of the situation, a large number of police forces have been deployed on the spot.
At the same time, the police and administration officials are also frozen on the spot. Bikaner Range Inspector General of Police Omprakash told that the body of the student was found in Khajuwala area on Tuesday. The relatives of the girl student have accused three people including two constables of Khajuwala police station in this case.
After that both the policemen have been suspended with immediate effect. The case is being investigated. Bikaner Superintendent of Police Tejaswani Gautam told that efforts are being made to make the family and relatives of the victim agree for the post-mortem of the dead body.
According to the police, a case has been registered in this regard at the Khajuwala police station under section 376-D of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and other sections. The victim of the incident was doing a computer course. His body was found in a house in Khajuwala. The relatives allege that the policemen Manoj and Bhagirath along with the third accused Dinesh Bishnoi took the girl student to that house. Then after gang rape, she was murdered.
According to the police, the deceased and the main accused knew each other. His call records have been found. The role of both the constables in the case is being probed. Additional Superintendent of Police Deepak Sharma is investigating the case. Meanwhile, the BJP has targeted the Gehlot government over the involvement of policemen in the incident.
BJP state president CP Joshi tweeted about the incident and said that the rape and murder of a Dalit girl student in Khajuwala and the association of the named accused with the police is a big blot on the government. How will the common man be safe if the savior turns into an eater. On the other hand, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Pratap Singh Khachariawas said in Jaipur that the police is probing the matter. Strict action will be taken against the culprits.
