Earthquake termors felt in northwest of Bikaner at around 2:01 am on Monday. Magnitude of the earthquake was measured at 4.1 on the Richter scale.
Bikaner: Earthquake tremors were felt in Rajasthan around 2 am on Monday. The magnitude of the earthquake was measured at 4.1 on the Richter scale. The National Center for Seismology (NCS) said that the epicenter of the earthquake was in Bikaner at 2:1 am on Monday. The depth of the earthquake was 10 km below the ground. According to the National Center for Seismology, the epicenter of the earthquake was recorded at a distance of 236 km northwest of Bikaner. The earthquake occurred when people were in deep sleep.
It is being told that mild tremors of earthquake were also felt in other districts of Rajasthan adjoining Bikaner. There is no report of any loss of life or property due to the low intensity of the earthquake. Generally, there is a fear of loss if the intensity is more than 5 on the Richter scale. Amidst the rain in Rajasthan, people got worried due to the earthquake, although people breathed a sigh of relief as the intensity of the earthquake decreased.
The depth of the earthquake was 10 km below the ground.

Earlier on Saturday, an earthquake of 5.2 magnitude on the Richter scale hit the northeast of Lucknow. In UP also the earthquake came late in the night. The earth was shaken by the earthquake at 1:12 pm on Saturday night. Tremors of the earthquake were also felt in many districts of UP. Apart from this, mild tremors were also felt in Pithoragarh area of Uttarakhand on Friday. The magnitude of the earthquake was measured at 3.6 on the Richter scale. Another earthquake measuring 3.1 on the Richter scale struck south-southwest of Henley village in Jammu and Kashmir.
