Rajasthan: Emergency landing of Indian Air Force’s attack helicopter Mi-35 in Hanumangarh

Hanumangarh: The Indian Air Force's attack helicopter Mi-35 (Attack Helicopter Mi-35) has made an emergency landing in Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan on Tuesday. This landing happened due to a technical fault.

Hanumangarh: The Indian Air Force’s attack helicopter Mi-35 (Attack Helicopter Mi-35) has made an emergency landing in Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan on Tuesday. This landing is said to have happened due to a technical fault. Both the pilot and a flight engineer aboard the helicopter are safe. This helicopter landing took place in a field between Dholipal-Kikarwali village. On the information of the helicopter landing near the village, there was a crowd of villagers.

Later, on the information of this, Sangaria and Sadar police station reached the spot. This emergency landing of the helicopter took place at around 9.30 am. According to Sadar police station in-charge Lakhbir Gill, there were 5 people in the helicopter and they are all safe. The helicopter had to make an emergency landing due to a technical fault in its engine.

This morning two helicopters took off from Suratgarh. One of them had to land in the field due to a technical fault in the helicopter. According to the police, army engineers have left from Suratgarh. Only after his arrival, the technical fault of the helicopter will be removed. At present, the police force of Sangaria and Sadar police stations, including Sangaria CO Prateek Mile, are stationed on the spot.

A large number of villagers have gathered on the spot.This news of the helicopter’s emergency landing spread in the immediate vicinity. At the same time, the rumor of helicopter crash was also spread on social media. After that Sangaria and Sadar police station immediately reached the spot and made it clear that the helicopter and staff are completely safe. The helicopter made an emergency landing due to a technical fault in the engine.

It is noteworthy that in the past too, there have been cases of emergency landing of many army helicopters in Rajasthan. Barmer, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Suratgarh in Sri Ganganagar are the major army stations in western Rajasthan. From military exercises to other types of activities are often held here. During this many times there are reports of emergency landing of helicopters in the area due to technical glitches.
