Mumbai: Rajinikanth, who has been waiting for the re-release of his film Baba, recently saw the upcoming film Le Musk, a virtual reality thriller that is directed and co-produced by AR Rahman. The film had its premiere at the 72nd Cannes International Film Festival.
Rajinikanth may be seen wearing a VR headset and watching the movie in photos posted by AR Rahman on Twitter and Instagram during the movie’s screening for him. Rajinikanth’s stylish seating as he watched the film was noted by fans in the comment section. Someone tweeted, “Superstar Rajinikanth’s style comes easily.” Another admirer praised the seasoned performer, writing, “This man is full of elegance.”
As per Variety, AR Rahman’s Le Musk is promoted as a cinematic sensory experience that joins virtual reality and incorporates motion, music, and aroma into the story it follows heiress and musician Juliet Merdinian, who, 20 years after becoming an orphan, searches for the men who altered her destiny using just one strong memory: the scent of them.
Rajinikanth is currently shooting for his upcoming Tamil film, Jailer. The super star collaborated with director Nelson on Jailer, as did Tamannaah Bhatia, Vinayakan, and Ramya Krishnan; all of the actors play important roles in the film.
Of late, pictures of Rajinikanth with a young fan from the set of the film Jailer went viral on social media. In this image, the action hero can be spotted signing an autograph and hugging the kid from behind while posing for a picture. Fans are reacting by saying that the kid is lucky. Another fan wrote, “Who is this lucky kid?”
The shooting of Jailer has been rolling at a rapid pace. Rajinikanth can be seen as a jailer in the film, which was shot entirely within a prison. He was last seen in a Tamil film, Annaatthe.
