South’s superstar Rajinikanth has met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at his residence in Lucknow. Rajinikanth reached Lucknow on the night of Friday 18 August for the screening of his film ‘Jailor’. UP Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya also attended this special screening. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth expressed happiness over the positive response his film is getting from the audience and its success.
Earlier, CM Yogi Adityanath along with his entire cabinet had come to watch the film The Kerala Story. For this, a special screening was organized at Lok Bhavan. During this, CM Yogi had said that ‘Love Jihad is an agenda of undeclared terrorism against humanity. This film attracts the attention of the whole country towards Love Jihad. Every civilized citizen and society has to be aware of this distortion.
Rajinikanth said, “It is God’s blessing that the film is becoming a hit.” Earlier, Rajinikanth was in Ranchi, Jharkhand. On Friday, he visited the famous Chhinnamasta temple of the state and offered prayers. He spent an hour meditating at the ‘Yagoda Ashram’ in Ranchi. After this, he met Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan at Raj Bhavan.
Talking about the collection of Jailer, the film has earned more than 235 crores in the country by earning 9 crores on the 8th day in India. If we talk about the worldwide box office, then Gadar 2 has so far earned 369 crores. Breaking this record of Gadar 2, ‘Jailor’ has earned 426.7 crores worldwide.
In ‘Jailor’, Rajinikanth plays the role of a man who wants to avenge the death of his policeman son. Mohanlal, Shivrajkumar and Jackie Shroff also have cameos in this film.
