Champat Rai emphasized that the selected idol should exude divineness and possess a childlike appearance. This decision underscores the meticulous planning and attention to detail in ensuring the sanctity of the shrine.

Meanwhile, Shri Ram Mandir Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Misra conducted an inspection of the ongoing construction work on the Ram Janmabhoomi Path and the temple complex. He assured that the construction process is qualitative and not rushed, with completion scheduled in three phases.

The consecration ceremony, spanning seven days from January 16 to January 22, will involve various rituals and events. On January 16, an atonement ceremony will take place, followed by the ‘Dashvidh’ bath, Vishnu worship, and offerings to cows on the Saryu River banks.
