New Delhi: The Ram temple being built in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh will be inaugurated on January 1, 2024. Union Home Minister Amit Shah gave this information on Thursday. The special thing is that the Lok Sabha elections are to be held in the country only in 2024. In such a situation, the date of inauguration of Ram temple is also being linked to BJP’s vote politics.

Regarding the announcement of the construction and inauguration of the Ram temple, Amit Shah said that the Congress obstructed the construction of the Ram temple in the courts. After the Supreme Court’s decision, Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the construction of the temple.

Let us inform that Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed Bhoomi Pujan (Ram Mandir Bhumi Pujan) for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya on 5 August 2020 and laid the foundation stone of the temple. In 2019, resolving the decades-old issue, the Supreme Court cleared the way for the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. With the laying of the foundation for the construction of the temple, the BJP’s movement for the Ram temple became fruitful, which had taken the saffron party to the pinnacle of power.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat were also present at the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony.

After performing Bhoomi Pujan of Ram temple, PM Modi addressed the people present there. PM Modi started his speech with the slogans of Jai Shri Ram. He had said that the slogans of Jai Siya Ram are resonating not only in Ayodhya but today in the whole world. It is my good fortune that Ram Bhoomi Trust invited me and gave me a chance to witness this occasion.

PM Modi had said that today a golden chapter is being written on the banks of Saryu. Today the whole of India is blessed. The whole country is thrilled. Every mind is bright. Today the whole of India is emotional. The wait of centuries is ending today.
