New Delhi: Union Minister Ramdas Athawale has targeted the Chief Minister of Bengal in his own style. He said, ‘Mamata Banerjee is saying that she will have played in 2024, I want to tell her that Narendra Modi will have a fair in 2024 and he will come to power again. The BJP is not afraid of the opposition. The more you oppose the BJP, the stronger the BJP will be.
Amid the possibility of an anti-Modi alliance by Trinamool Congress leader and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, Union Minister Ramdas Athawale on Thursday said that facing PM Narendra Modi in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections is beyond Mamata Banerjee’s ability. Ramdas Athawale said on Twitter that there will be no ‘khela’ but a ‘mela’ under the leadership of PM Modi in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. With a thumping victory, PM Modi will once again be elected the Prime Minister.
Athawale said it was not in Mamata Banerjee’s capacity to face Narendra Modi. In the coming (Lok Sabha) elections, Narendra Modi will once again become the Prime Minister with a clear majority. He said this through tweet.
Ramdas Athawale’s reaction comes as Mamata Banerjee is swiftly stepping into the corridors of Delhi to project herself as the prime contender against PM Modi in 2024. These days Bengal Chief Minister Banerjee is in talks with other opposition leaders with an anti-BJP stand.
The face of the opposition in 2024 is still not clear:
Moreover, there is still ambiguity on the face of the opposition in the 2024 elections. However, Mamata Banerjee held a meeting with Congress President Sonia Gandhi. Along with this, he also held a meeting with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. It is still not clear who will lead the opposition against PM Modi in the 2024 general election.
