Ramesh Bais appointed as new Governor of Maharashtra, BS Koshyari’s resignation accepted by Prez Murmu

Mumbai: Ramesh Bais has been appointed as the new Governor of Maharashtra. President Draupadi Murmu has accepted the resignation of Bhagat Singh Koshiyari as the Governor of Maharashtra. The resignations of the Governor of Maharashtra as well as the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh (Laddakh LG) Radha Krishnan Mathur have been accepted.

Along with this, new governors have been appointed in many states. In this period, Jharkhand Governor Ramesh Bais has been made the Governor of Maharashtra.

At the same time, some new governors have also been appointed. Apart from this, Gulab Chand Kataria has been made the Governor of Assam, former Union Minister Shiv Pratap Shukla of Himachal Pradesh. At the same time, Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar has been made the Governor of Bihar. Till now he was the Governor of Himachal Pradesh. Whereas Fagu Chauhan, the current Governor of Bihar, has been made the Governor of Meghalaya.

Arunachal Pradesh Governor BD Mishra has been made the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh. While former Justice S Abdul Nazeer has been appointed as the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, Bihar Governor Fagu Chauhan has been appointed as the Governor of Meghalaya.

-Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan was made the governor of Jharkhand

-Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla appointed as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh

-Shri Gulab Chand Kataria as Governor of Assam

-Shri L. Ganesan, Governor of Manipur appointed as the Governor of Nagaland

-Shri Fagu Chauhan, Governor of Bihar appointed as Governor of Meghalaya

-Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Governor of Himachal Pradesh appointed as Governor of Bihar

All these appointments will be effective from the date of assumption of charge of their respective offices.
