Ranbir Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra’s ‘Animal’ to release on August 11, 2023

Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal finally has a release date. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga of Kabir Singh fame, the crime drama will hit the theatres on August 11, 2023. The film’s cast also features Parineeti Chopra, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol.

Recently, the release date of Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s romantic comedy directed by Luv Ranjan was announced. On November 19, the makers of Animal unveiled the release date of the crime drama.

Sharing the release date of Animal on social media, producer Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series wrote, “Bhushan Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor & Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s crime drama film, ANIMAL to hit theaters worldwide on 11th August 2023 (sic).”

Ranbir Kapoor is likely to play an intense and dark character in Animal. In the announcement video of the film, the actor talked about his character’s troubled relationship with his father, which ended in gunshots.

Talking about his Animal, Ranbir Kapoor had said in an interview, During the pandemic, we all got some time to introspect and choose films that are close to our hearts. So when Sandeep narrated the story, I grew close to the character and was immediately keen on doing the role. I’m a huge admirer of both of his movies and really looking forward to our creative collaboration. Bhushan sir is one of the producers who is backing strong, entertaining cinema and his immense knowledge of music will be seen in Animal. I am so grateful to work with such a great ensemble cast. I can’t wait to start shoot for Animal.”

Animal is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Pranay Reddy Vanga, Krishan Kumar and Murad Khetani.
