Mumbai: Shaktimaan, a well-known superhero television show, first hit the idiot box on September 13, 1997, and lasted until March 24, 2005. The serial was the heart and soul of children in those days. Several children lost their lives or got injured while doing dangerous acts in the hope that Shaktimaan would come as a saviour.

A movie is on the cards to be made on the superhit serial of the 90s, in which actor Ranveer Singh has been approached to play a lead role.

Meanwhile, there is no confirmation of this report yet, but news is in the air that film makers believe that Ranveer is capable of playing the role of Shaktimaan in a natural way. The actor has a busy schedule amidst several movies in the pipeline. But contact has been made with the actor regarding the role of a superhero in the film.

Mukesh Khanna, better known as Shaktimaan, due to the popularity of his character in this show, is now mulling over producing the film. The film’s teaser was released in February of this year, with the announcement that “one of # India’s major superstars will play the title role.”

Film analyst Taran Adarsh then shared the teaser, which read, “THE ICONIC ‘SHAKTIMAAN’ TO THE BIG SCREEN… This time, #Shaktimaan will be made for *cinemas*. It will be a trilogy. One of India’s major superstars will enact the title role. A top name will direct. “

Shaktimaan aired on television for eight years, with Mukesh Khanna playing the pivotal role of a superhero. The actors like Vaishnavi, Kitu Gidwani, Tom Alter, Shikha Swaroop, Ganjendra Chauhan, and so on were the key characters of the serial.

Kids at that time waited for weekends to watch their favourite shows on small screens. It was telecast in several languages and on many TV channels.
