Beijing: Chinese tech brand, Realme, has currently been working a lot on diversifying its portfolio, and apparently laptops are going to be the next in addition. According to a new tweet by one of the firm’s executives, realme may soon launch a tablet. Earlier today, the company’s Indian/European CEO even officially teased a laptop.
Hinting about the same on social media, the CEO of Realme for India and Europe, Madhav Sheth, posted a photo on Twitter, showing a laptop peeking out of a thin brown envelope or bag, alongside a binary message that says “Hello World” when decoded.

Last month, realme sent out a survey for laptop preferences, where it put up a questionnaire hinting that the brand’s first laptop could release in Q3 2021. While, in one of his latest tweets, the executive asks his followers whether the name ‘realme Pad’ sounds good. The executive further said the product name will be added up to the user’s #techlife.
So far, we know practically nothing about this laptop since we are hearing it for the very first time. It could be an entirely different series – as none of realme’s sister brands (OPPO, OnePlus) sell tablets, hence, it is difficult to guess specifications.
Notably, with this new addition of laptop, Realme, will become the first smartphone brand of the BBK Electronics group that is making a move into computer territory.
