Reasi Terror Attack: The terrorist attack on a pilgrim bus in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir has shaken everyone. While 9 people lost their lives in this case, around 41 people were injured in the attack. Now the search for the terrorists involved in the attack on the pilgrim bus has intensified. 11 teams of Army and CRPF are conducting search operations in the upper hilly area.

Reasi Terror Attack: The terrorist attack on a pilgrim bus in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir has shaken everyone. While 9 people lost their lives in this case, around 41 people were injured in the attack. Now the search for the terrorists involved in the attack on the pilgrim bus has intensified. 11 teams of Army and CRPF are conducting search operations in the upper hilly area.

According to the information, the pilgrims’ bus was returning from Shiv Khodi Temple towards Katra, the base camp of Mata Vaishno Devi Temple. During this time, terrorists of Pakistan-backed terrorist organization The Resistance Front, hidden in the forest, ambushed the bus. After the attack the terrorists ran towards the forest. At the same time, after the attack, a joint operation is being conducted to eliminate the terrorists and the forest of Reasi has been surrounded. Commandos and drones have also been deployed there.

The DIG leading the operation said that our action is continuing. We are working on the basis of different inputs. Several teams have been formed to work on two different fronts, while the investigation is also going on at a rapid pace. According to sources, 2 to 3 terrorists were involved in this attack. The administration has approved an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh for the families of the deceased and Rs 50,000 for the injured.

Let us tell you that the terrorists first shot the driver of the bus, after which the bus fell into the ditch due to loss of balance. Even after that the terrorists continued firing for a long time. Both the driver and conductor of the bus died in the attack. Passengers who survived the attack said that the terrorists continued firing even after the bus fell into the ditch. Among the passengers who died, 4 were from Rajasthan and 3 were from Uttar Pradesh.
