Mumbai: Renowned actor Sayaji Shinde was swiftly rushed to hospital after he experienced severe chest pain on Saturday, reports said. The veteran actor had not been feeling well since the last couple of days following which family members admitted him to Pratibha Hospital in Satara. According to reports, doctors found blockages in the arteries circulating blood to his heart. Sayaji had an angioplasty and is now in stable condition.
65-year-old actor has recently shared a health update with his fans. He posted a video on social media for his followers. The caption of the post reads, “Hi, I am doing good. All the fans who love me, my well-wishers who are with me, you don’t need to worry. I will be there for your entertainment soon, thank you”.
Fans have showered the actor with wishful messages in the comment section. One user wrote, “Take care of your health.” Another user added, “I pray to God for your speedy recovery.”
“Get well soon,” added another.
His family promptly admitted him to the hospital as he suffered severe chest pain. Doctors gave him emergency treatment following which, he underwent some heart tests. In the tests, it was discovered that there was a 99 per cent blockage in one of his three blood vessels. Despite this, his condition remains stable, and doctors expect him to be discharged within the next two days.
For the unversed, Sayaji Shinde rose to fame with films including Shool, Singham, Nenokkadine, and Antim: The Final Truth. The actor last appeared in the Netflix web series, Killer Soup, alongside Manoj Bajpayee and Konkona Sen Sharma. He has a few films in the pipeline including Commitment: 60 Hours, Maa Nanna Superhero, Struggler 2023, Viral Girls, Sathyam, Aamdar Niwas, and Susaat to name a few.
