New Delhi: Big news coming from AUS vs WI Perth test match. During the LIVE commentary on the third day of the Perth Test, former Australian captain Ricky Ponting’s health suddenly deteriorated. After which the Australian former great batsman was admitted to the nearest hospital in Perth. According to media reports, his health deteriorated during the match.
Ponting was doing commentary from the first day in the Test match between Australia and West Indies starting on Wednesday in Perth. Although the condition of the Australian veteran is stable. He was not feeling well during the commentary and hence was taken to the hospital for general check-up. According to reports, Ponting was taken to Perth Hospital around lunch time on the third day of the first Test. There is also news that he will not do commentary in the third session.
This year, the game lost two of the biggest legends to wear Australian colours, Rod Marsh and Shane Warne in March. Dean Jones, another Australian batter also suddenly passed away due to a heart attack in September 2020.

Ricky Ponting retired from International Cricket in November 2012. He has played 168 Tests, 375 ODIs and 17 T20 Internationals for his country. Ponting scored 13378 runs in Tests and 13704 runs in ODIs during this period.
In 17 T20Is, he made 401 runs at an average of 28.64 and scored two fifties. He was a part of Australian team that won three straight 50-over World Cups in 1999, 2003 and 2007, leading the side to triumphs in later two tournaments as skipper. Kohli has also scored 71 centuries with him. Most 100 centuries are in the name of Sachin Tendulkar.
